.mac Sync for Firefox

Now that I have 2 Macs, I finally broke down and got a .mac account. It synchronizes most of the important stuff on its own, but Firefox requires some extra work.

Bookmarks Synchronizer 3 is the Firefox extension you want.

Install it, then configure it as follows:

On the Basic Tab, select HTTPS.
Host: idisk.mac.com
User: *your .mac username*
Password: *your .mac password*
Path: /*your .mac username*/Documents/xbel.xml
Select Auto download and Auto upload.
Cancel uploading should already be selected.

That should do it. You only need to quit Firefox when you are done to trigger the sync.

LASIK Time

There is a ton of information about LASIK, and not all of it is good. I've spent a lot of time researching LASIK, because if the price comes down anymore I'm gonna go for it.

For now, I'm content to just track the industry. It's good to see that they are constantly improving the safety and reliability of the procedure. LASIK Watch is something I visit once a day just to keep an eye on things.
